What the house?

Katie and I have had a pretty good couple of days. Wednesday was great. Our friends Mark and Beth invited us over last minute for dinner and made Paella. I had never even heard of it but it was guuud. Of course I will usually be happy with meat and rice. Then we watched Stranger Than Fiction with Will Ferrell. I’ll recommend this to you as well. It wasn’t the normal ridiculous Will Ferrell movie. Good plot, well written, there was some actual acting (even by Ferrell). Just a good solid movie.

Thursday night we saw the Wyoming boys win in the second round of the state basketball tourney. They looked big and strong. Play tough, tough D. Shoot well, take care of the ball and get out quickly on the break. We missed the first quarter but we’re glad we decided to go. Especially because one of Katie’s all-time favorite students is the starting point guard (#24).

Last night we went with friends to see two of the areas top teams in Division I, Moeller and LaSalle. Both are top 15 in the state. Apparently we’re prepping for March Madness.

And tonight we’ll be catching one of my friends playing some music over on the east side of town. Music and basketball. Sounds like a fun weekend.

I expect next week we’ll be catching some more games.

We are contemplating a new adventure. This housing downturn has gotten us really excited and we may take advantage of it this summer. It’s hard only because there are so many good options in the area we’re looking. The hardest part is balancing all of the things we’re looking for. Location, size, yard, price, friends, jobs, schools, area, parks, and on and on. We’ve been looking at houses online for awhile but are starting to check out open houses. It’s been fun because there is no pressure.

And check out this picture. It’s pretty sweet.

Please let us know. And if not us, then me.

Good bye.
