We've started a new game. We'll see how long this lasts."Can you guess what Jackson's trying to say?" is what it's called. We play it daily. So fun.
Today's word is...
dash-doze
hint: it's a food. Chime in with your responses.
In other news, this weekend has been b-e-a-utiful. We had neighbors over last night for a cookout in the backyard. They brought tofu burgers, spinach and feta chicken sausages and turkey dogs. They are super healthy eaters and said last night that they are considering being vegetarians. It stretches us to think about the hot dogs (aka leftover parts of animals) we were going to serve. Hmmm...Colin and I both agreed that we would like to be eating healthier foods but we're not quite at their level. The kids loved playing in the yard while we cooked. Jackson followed their 5 year old son and 4 year old daughter everywhere. They were quite content playing with sticks and bouncy balls. That made me happy. I enjoy the fact that they can make up games of their own in the great outdoors.

Other notables:
Liam is smiling now!

First grass-stained knee!

Jackson wakes up most days saying "bat ball bat ball..."

Tomorrow morning we are going to go to Findlay Market downtown with our friends the San Marcos. We hope to gather some fabulous pictures to share in a future posting.

I'm guessing either hash browns or mashed potatoes...
We play this game a lot as well... and while it is getting easier to understand there are still days that we need to translate...or need a translator!!
Things look like they are going well!!
Quick! Start teaching Jackson to be a switch-hitter! He'll be more valuable that way! ;)
