We went to Blooms and Berries, a local farm, to purchase flowers for our flower bed in the front. Jackson got to ride in the flower wagon and ride down a super long slide.
Funny story about the slide: As I was perusing the perennials, Colin took Jackson to the giant slide to keep him occupied. There was a little girl there, about 8 years of age, and Colin decided to ask her if she had fun going down the slide. She said yes and asked Colin if Jackson wanted to go on the slide. Colin thought he might enjoy it. The little girl asked if she could "take him down" (remember this phrase). So the helpful little girl sat behind our Jackson boy at the top of the slide...and shoved him down! Colin said at first Jackson was sitting up OK, but as you can see, the slide is long. SO as he made his way down he began to rotate...legs began to lose traction and fly up in the air, and he ended up spewed out at the end of the slide upside down into the dirt head first. The little girl said, "You OK buddy? You probably didn't like that very much!" Duh.
Uncle John and Colin's Mom came into town. Jackson tried to take off in Uncle John's car. He changed some of his radio presets while he was at it.
All in all a fun weekend.
