The Thumb is Fixed!

Well, it's done. Jackson's trigger thumb is fixed. The minor surgery went well yesterday and he can now bend his thumb and it won't stick that way! For the past 6+ months Jackson's right thumb would occasionally get stuck in the bent position, prompting him to run to us laughing, like "Look, Mom and Dad. How weird!"

Here's a picture of his bandaged thumb the day we got home from the hospital. He was a champ - a perfect patient - but just a little grouchy when we returned home at 3pm because he hadn't really eaten anything all day. So here he is, eating everything we gave to him. After downing goldfish, string cheese, a banana, a cereal bar, milk, and apple juice, he was back to his normal self.
