We went on a family fishin' trip this morning with a neighbor of ours. It was a blast even though I really don't prefer fishing over other activities. Jackson was able to reel in a couple of bluegill and Colin caught a large mouth bass. It was the kind of fishing where you really don't get bored because one of the 3 adults or one of the 4 kids was always catching something. Liam and I had enough entertainment to keep him interested as well. The pond was on a local farm and the setting was peaceful.

Our neighbor, Gary, helping Jackson with his first catch.

A proud boy with his first catch.

Dada showing the boys what a real fish looks like.

Dada looking for his first catch of the day.

Woa Dad! What a catch!

The bass up close.

And this is the video of Jackson's first catch.
PS- We'll be eating the fish tonight for dinner!

Apparently my post didn't "take".
I wrote that the little boy with his first fish is a classic. We have three generations of that pose...Neal, Colin, John, and now Jackson. Lovely. What a wonderful memory for all the boys and their moms.
love, sammy
