Snoozaroonios

Oh, wonderful nap time! My kiddos all are nappers, thank goodness. That means I can catch a nap on most days or try to get something accomplished in the limited time I have while naps overlap (hooray!). Can you tell I cherish this time? Don't get me wrong, I love my kids, but a mom's gotta have some time alone, you know? Sweet Ella caught on to the afternoon siesta schedule right away, bless her heart. But she still has to catch a little shut eye here and there in addition, hence the picture of her asleep in the exersaucer.

I was stealth in catching these pictures so that I didn't disturb the wonderful thing I had going on this day.

Our big boy. He still fights the nap but cannot do without it. He is g-r-u-m-p-y pants without it! He can be found every which way in the bed, but this time he slept like most big kids, head on the pillow. His animal of choice most days is "froggie" but has a whole slew to pick from and gives them equal time with him these days. The days that "Georgie Monkey" ruled the roost are pretty much gone.



Our little guy loves his nap time and his new big boy bed. This time, he was perfectly sideways in bed, but mostly his head hits the pillow and he doesn't move all night. The animal of choice these days is "owl", which he makes me fly around the room to meet him in bed before nap time.



Our baby girl also loves her naps. These days she is sleeping on her belly or on her side when I go in to get her.



She usually has 3 naps a day but this day she had just one more for good measure.
