Red Grammer

We went to a Red Grammer performance today at UC, part of their ARTrageous Saturdays series for kids. He had a great voice and held the kids' attention for an hour with his silliness and guitar playing. He's Grammy nominated for the children's songs he writes and has been on shows like The Today Show, PBS and others. Here's his website:

After the show Red came out to greet the kids. We bought a CD and he signed it for the kiddos. He was great and the kids loved the show.

After Red signed the CD, Jackson gave Red a big high five and said with gusto, "Top shelf baby!"



Oh, and as a bonus, I got to see Colin get up on stage and do a little song and dance himself...Red asked for the kids to point to the craziest person in the family. Colin, of course! So up went all of those "crazy" parents. Too bad the pictures didn't come out better. It was pretty funny. Colin said that I would have qualified to go up but I got out of it because I was holding Ella!





One final note...Andy Grammer, his son, is on the radio with "Keep Your Head Up". Red Grammer was quick to praise his son when I asked what his two boys do now. Here's Andy Grammer's website:
