Overheard from the boys' room - 1

I am going to start a regular post called, "Overheard from the boys' room..."
In it I will let you in on the nightly conversations of our 5 and 4 year old boys who share the same room.
Do not be looking for anything too insightful or even anything that makes sense in these posts.

Part 1

Liam: (telling a joke) Why did the alien take his antennas off?
Jackson: Because he didn't want them any more?
Liam: Nope. Because he wanted to do it himself! Hahahahaha

Silence.

Liam: Black Batman only talks to me because you're too grouchy!

Silence.

Liam: (singing to the tune of "This old man...") Mother's Day, Mother's Day, is a very special day, with a great big hug and lots of kisses too, each one says that I love you.

Jackson: Do you want to learn my Columbus Day song? I'll teach you! (Jackson begins to sing and Liam overlays some nonsense)

Silence. Finally.
