Update

We haven't been around the blog world recently...had a lot going on and a bunch of visitors in town. First, Colin's Mom and brother, then Katie's parents and Aunt and Uncle. And here are a few funny stories in between.

Liam became a "really big deal"...


...because he learned how to read at 2.5 months!


Jackson has been a huge help around the house. He can set the table with Mommy, throw things in the trash (he's especially good at his brother's stinky diapers), empty and fill the dishwasher, and water the plants outside with the hose. Recently we were out watering and I allowed him to hold the hose with the squirter attachment all by himself. I looked away for a second and when I looked back, he was soaking wet. OK, so I could have predicted that. But as I looked closer, it seems as if he didn't just squirt himself, but he blasted himself in the face, slicking back his hair on one side with the power of the soaker. So funny. He just looked bewildered.

Jackson just loves to hold Liam. He asks to pick him up practically every day. So, he's learning how to hold him and support his head, but he hasn't learned how to avoid being smooshed by him yet!
