Jackson's newest word in our game is one that describes an object in our house. It's pretty funny. Any guesses?
Also on the home front, Liam has begun to giggle. It's one of my favorite "firsts", along with the first smile. It seems he likes it if we "dance" with his arms and legs, or make funny faces. We haven't caught it on video yet, but hope to show you soon once we do.
Another development: Jackson is willing to ride with me in the bike trailer, finally! All he needed was his friend Anna to accompany him, and all was well.
Jackson has been so eager to care for people and things recently. He loves to hold Liam and dance with his hands. He always makes sure we turn on his monitor too. If he hears Liam crying he comes to get me. And he often is found taking care of stuffed animals as well. He'll pretend to feed them things and put blamkets over them when they are cold.
Here are my beautiful lilies. I am beginning to enjoy gardening and look forward to seeing all of my new blooms each season.

i wish we had a better place to ride bikes around here. we would have sprung for a trailer. we ended up with the bike seat. but elijah rides his own bike... so maybe it all works out!
giggles are one of my favorite firsts as well!! it's one thing that is completely unique from child to child!
or maybe towel (only because i heard a mom say that to her daughter on the beach today..."wanna wrap up?" hmmm....
