We've always looked forward to the day we could take the kids on their bikes to the bike trail in our town. But, it's a well traveled trail by some speedy cyclists in padded spandex and sponsor jerseys, so we didn't want to bring any amateur riders who could potentially cause accidents. So. we thought the boys finally met the criteria: big kid bikes, some control, good use of the brakes.
Success! The boys did a great job. No accidents, save for one or two spills by Liam due to riding off the trail into the grassy berm. Oh well. We had fun and will be back again soon.
