Here is our budding videographer's first attempt to capture our family in action. Yes, the camera is totally in his hands, so if you get seasick, you may not want to watch this one.
For those of you who wished not to watch the wobbly photographer, here are two cute stories from tonight's walk:
We were walking the dog we're dog sitting, Keita, when we came upon a mother and child on a path in the wooded park across the street. The little boy, age 5ish, wanted to pet Keita. He got one or two pats in before Keita was off sniffing something. I mentioned that he's onto a trail, but who knows what it is. The boy offered up, "It's probably a salmon." Cute.
When we returned to the house, I took Keita to the back yard to turn on the sprinkler. Colin remained on the driveway in the front of our house with Jackson. Our two neighbor kids, twin girl and boy age 5ish (get the common thread?) struck up conversation with Colin. The little girl was very polite, asking about Jackson, if he's been good in the last two days, that sort of thing. Then she says, "Can we sleep over your house sometime? I think that would be fun!" Colin, unsure as to what to say, stuttered, "We'll think about it." She said ok, but again reiterated how fun it would be to stay at our house.
