The culprit (don't let his cuteness fool you):
Weapon:

The setting:
Our bedroom
The situation:
KT and I are upstairs in the bedroom attending to various activities while the wee culprit is crawling about moving between scattered toys and "not a toy"s. As an example, wires are "not a toy." And we are not more than six feet from him at any point in this comedy.
Well our bedroom is suite-like in that there is the main bedroom, a powder room (sort of), a walk in closet and a full bathroom. At the risk of painting too accurate a picture, I am doing some paperwork in the oval office while KT is doing...whatever it is she does in her closet. This son of ours has previously found a nice spot under the counter of the powder room and it is not unusual for us to find him there. He likes the stacks of drawers and other tidbits we store down there. He also likes to play with bottles and especially the smooth shampoo bottles.
Well KT turns around, sees the munchkin on the floor, bottle top somehow now off (he's nine months old, how the heck does this happen), and shampoo glugging out of the bottle. He's now sitting in a salad plate size pond of shampoo, with a fair amount of it on his legs. Well wife cries out for help but I'm not quite wrapped up so am mostly no use. The best I can do is help him stand in front of me. But since his legs are covered in shampoo his feet are sliding all over the tile floor.
Ultimately the kid received an unscheduled bath and was sent off to bed. Not as punishment mind you, just because it was that time. Luckily for us. Well we spent the next full hour at least trying to get the shampoo out of the carpet. On the bright side that 2 square foot area is darn clean.

I don't get the up a tree picture. The suspense is too much for me in the shampoo story. Well done.
