The solution (hopefully): make shelves in this space
The result: shelves
Yessss. After lots of figuring and planning and time I think they came out great. J boy really seemed to like watching me work on the shelves so Mom would bring him down frequently. Katie would often say that when I was downstairs using the saw he'd go to the top of the stairs, point at the door and say, "Dada." Unbelievably we weren't able to get all of our junk on the shelves but I have an idea to take care of that. Part of that idea is getting Katie to jettison some of her stuff. Maybe we'll send it back with Katie's folks next time they come out here. But we've now got space to play a bit downstairs and Katie has her artiste area.The other night we got to enjoy our space with a little foosball. Stop in and we'll play a bit.

And, oh yea - maybe KT's parents will take some of her stuff home?? I don't think so. Perhaps you should have her jettison the stuff, because we're bringing more to you in a week or so!!!
