Symmes Township has a festival every year at a park near our home. The kids haven't really experienced all of the benefits of a festival due to height...until this year! They qualified for a handful of rides, including a long slide on a burlap bag, a car ride (hooked up like a swing-style merry-go-round) and a dragon roller coaster. The latter was the biggest hit. Not sure if they were thrilled, or were just enduring the fun of it. Their faces showed "I know I'm supposed to be excited but I'm a little nervous about this one!" They are still talking about the "festibal", now several weeks later. Supposedly Jackson was singing the theme song to "Dinosaur Train" the whole ride in an effort to ensure Liam was ok with the ride. Side note: "Dinosaur Train" is a preschool show on TV, if you're not in that stage of life right now like we are!
